Texas Holdem poker basics

A Texas Holdem poker game can contain nine or ten players, any less and the game can be called a shorthanded Texas holdem. In order to determine who will start the game a one single card is dealt to each player. The player who gets the highest card will be the first dealer. A showdown takes place and can involve even the entire table, depending on how many stayed in the pot without folding. All players still in the hand show their cards, starting with the last to bet. The best five-card poker hand wins.
